Scenery Storage
XEarthLayer streams satellite imagery onto the terrain mesh supplied by regional scenery packages, at least one package is required. Each installed region carries a fixed cost on top of the cache capacity above.

Installation of a region package needs more free space than the installed result occupies because the download sits on disk while it is extracted. Per-region sizes are published in the regional scenery repository.
